Le Bœuf Noir
Dive bar with a history dating back to Prohibition. Supernaturals are known to meet there. Very poor and rough section of town near to the river by a warf. Thirteen steps down from the street to a bar with 13 tables 13 barstools and 13 (half are usually not working) lamps and not a single electrical device outside of the lights and a broken old payphone.
This bar is owned by the DuBois family who have always catered to supernaturals as well as to the unwashed and poverty stricken but honest folks who need to relax. The clientele is often mixed and conversations in the back tables can be far more private.
A permanent fixture of the place is the doorman, Archard…a hulking brute who has worked there for as long as anyone remembers and doesn’t seem to age. He is beloved in the neighborhood for taking care of those in need of protection without need for reparations.
